Mr. Romero is the father of Alex Romero. Formerly the sheriff of White Pine Bay, he is incarcerated at the Oregon Division of Corrections.
After discovering his mother's name on the ledger from the flash drive, Romero visited his father at the Oregon Division of Corrections, where he was serving time. Romero ordered him to take his mother's name off the ledger and his father said that Romero was still blaming him for his mother's death. (The Last Supper)
Romero revealed to Special Agent Liz Babbitt that his father was the one who started the pot ring in the 1980s when he was the town's sheriff and as his criminal enterprise grew, he acquired a number of investors, whose names were on the flash drive and added his deceased wife's name as a cover when he was sent to prison so that he could keep accumulating the money. (Crazy) Mr. Romero's accent, in my opinion, seems off. He sounds decidedly Irish.
