<p>Not likely.  Norma has gone to great lengths to cover for Norman over the years and she knows exactly what he is capable of doing.  She is just as co-dependant on him, as he is of her.  I totally believe that Norma would kill just as quickly as Norman to protect his little "secret", but she might not have to do the dirty work herself.  Caleab will do anything to win back his sister, if the story line follows Hitchcock's movie, Norma and the sheriff will become lovers.  Then there's poor Dylan, it will be interesting to see how far he will go to protect Norman.  </p><p>LET THE KILLING BEGIN! </p>

<p>It is quit clear that Norman will stay out of an institution dispite killing his real mother, her brother and his brother. The bypass will be constructed and the Motel will exist, barely, to home Marion Crane and other evil doers. </p>

<p>Norman is only a "psychopath" (Anti-social personality disorder) when he flips to the Norma personality meaning in his Norman personality they will only see borderline personlity disorder and a unhealthy bond with is mother. Norman can only be forced into treatment if he is a threat to him self or others. He blacked out all the violent events so a polygraph or bodylanguage would not look suspect. It takes six months of observation before ASPD could be diagnosed anyways. He has to get caught red handed or get treatment for another reason. </p>
